About the Role We are looking for a passionate HR Assistant part-time (25 or 32 hours per week) to join our talented People team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for HR and recruitment to gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment. You will play a key role in supporting HR operations and contributing to creating an exceptional employee experience. Reporting to the HR Manager you will be responsible for a range of HR administrative tasks and recruitment activities. This role involves handling the day-to-day HR processes, supporting end-to-end recruitment and various projects and events, and ensuring Sidara’s HR systems and records are accurate and up-to-date. Responsibilities
- Support recruitment activities, including posting job ads, managing applications, scheduling interviews, and liaising with agencies and internal teams for a smooth hiring process.
- Manage candidate communications, update them on progress, and assist with drafting offer letters, contracts, and induction materials.
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for new hires, and conduct pre-employment screenings.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems, handle employee queries, and manage HR inbox correspondence.
- Coordinate employee inductions, exit interviews, and the preparation of termination forms and leaver records.
- Assist with visa applications and renewals, support HR projects (e.g., engagement, benefits, training), and help organize company events.
- Contribute to process improvements, support internal audits, and assist the HR team with ad-hoc tasks and improvements aligned with the wider HR strategy.
- 1+ year of experience in an HR or recruitment environment.
- Good understanding of end-to-end recruitment functions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- A confident, personable, and proactive communicator.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A desire to pursue a career in human resources ready to learn both independently and from others, taking on challenges with support to gain further experience in this field.
