Job Description
- Policy Development : Create and enforce health and safety policies in compliance with regulations.
- Risk Assessment : Identify and mitigate workplace risks and hazards.
- Compliance : Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety laws (e.g., OSHA).
- Training : Conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees.
- Incident Investigation : Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions.
- Safety Inspections : Regularly inspect the workplace for safety hazards and compliance.
- Emergency Preparedness : Develop and execute emergency response plans and drills.
- PPE Management : Ensure proper use and availability of personal protective equipment.
- Health Programs : Promote wellness initiatives and ergonomic practices.
- Reporting : Maintain safety records and report performance to management.
- Collaboration : Work with other departments to ensure safety standards are met.
- Continuous Improvement : Evaluate and improve safety processes based on feedback and trends.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. B.E. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 15+ years of experience in the same field. 2. Membership in the Kuwait Society is mandatory, or the college from which the candidate graduated must be accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation).Employment Type
