Location: Regional Victoria location - 130KMS from Melbourne CBDWork Type: Full TimeSalary: $63K - $68K plus superWe have an exciting opportunity for a chef de partie at this venue located around 130Km from Melbourne. Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic and the ability to perform in a fast-paced kitchen. In return, you will be provided with a workplace where you will be able to continue to learn and develop your skills under the guidance of a supportive team. Sponsorship is available; however, the candidate must already be in Australia to apply.Duties:Menu planningEstimating food and labour costsLiaising with suppliersMonitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentationEnsuring hygiene regulations are metFreezing and preserving foodsQualifications:Completion of a relevant Commercial Cookery qualification including Cert IV or Diploma of Hospitality are a minimum requirement.Minimum of 3 years experience is also a requirement for this CDP role.Experience Required:Show sound cookery techniques and ability to learn new onesWork well under pressureTeam orientedPositive, punctual and professional approachFamiliar with food safety and OHS guidelinesAttention to detailCompetency with ordering and managing stockPlease note, only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
