Primary Role: A Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Repair, Documentation and providing Technical Support. Job Responsibilities:
- Experience in handling repair/maintenance of molecular Instruments.
- Experience in the installation and maintenance of diagnostic instruments, particularly RT-PCR (Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction) machines and automated sample extraction systems, is highly valuable for a Service Engineer in the medical field.
- Should have experience on Pathological Instruments.
- Relevant technical knowledge on basic electrical/Electronics.
- Must have computer software/Hardware installation knowledge.
- Must have computer software/Hardware installation knowledge.
- Customer Handling experience.
- Minimizing downtime through proactive measures is crucial for Service Engineers, especially in the context of diagnostic instruments like RT-PCR and automated sample extraction systems.
- Making Maintenance & Service-related reports.
- Working closely with the sales team.
- An ability to work well under pressure.
- Extensive travel is often a key aspect of a Service Engineer's role, especially for those servicing pathological or lab instruments
- Having a good exposure in diagnostic instruments maintenance and troubleshooting
- Preferably from Life science/Biotech company
- BE/B-Tech in Biomedical/Mechanical/Electronics.
- Diploma Holder may also be considered with a good experience in the Diagnostics Instrument field.
- Positive behavior is crucial for a Service Engineer, especially in the context of maintaining and troubleshooting diagnostic instruments.
- Customer orientation is a vital aspect in this role.
