- 15+ years of experience working with growers and packhouses, with relevant experience in the procurement of Apple, Pear, Orange, and Kiwi.
- Strong understanding of global fruit procurement and export processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Strong knowledge of English.
- Ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
- Identify and engage with local farmers to source high-quality fruits.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of produce to meet company standards.
- Identify suitable packhouses for packing and storing the sourced fruits.
- Engage with packhouse management to ensure compliance with packaging standards and timelines.
- Oversee the packing process to ensure fruits are packed correctly and efficiently without any wastage.
- Ensure the shipping of packed fruits to India and other overseas markets at the most competitive rates.
- Work with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Oversee and manage export documentation and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
