Start your career with Bank of Singapore as an Area Product Owner - Loans, Mortgages & Deposits ! Platform and Transformation ("P&T") is the team responsible under BOS Global COO ("GCOO") to build the WM Platform of the future across all offerings, all teams, and all locations. The team is responsible for strategic initiatives including building Channels, Wealth & Execution platforms as well as Regulatory and Risk Transformation. The team is also in charge of financial markets and client data as well as the Agile practice at BOS. Reporting to the Product Owner - Loans, Mortgages & Deposits, the Area Product Owner will work and support the Product Owner responsible for the delivery of best-in-class execution systems to our clients and Front Office for Loans, Mortgages & Deposits. Main Duties: The APO supports the PO in defining the strategic product vision for Loans, Mortgages and Deposits with core focus on Front Office and client end-to-end deal journey. Maximising the value of the product resulting from the work of the squads while maintaining the conceptual integrity of the features/components in full alignment with business stakeholders across businesses, markets, segments and locations. Assisting in the gathering and analysis of end user requirements in deal placement/booking, understanding upstream applications such as credit/loan limit setting, etc. as well as downstream systems such as T24 and performing functional analyses on deal booking system requirements from order placement to market execution. Areas required to cover include deal booking, reconciliation and settlement workflows/processes together with various stakeholders. Define user test cases, managing user testing as well as system training and rollout planning. Work in an Agile squad comprising of Business and Technology partners to drive timely and quality delivery against the Product backlog. Support the definition of acceptance criteria for user stories and implement effective testing practices before rolling out new features & enhancements. Track and report User engagement, adoption metrics, and develop plans for driving User Satisfaction. Together with PO, pro-actively seek feedback from internal and external customers to anticipate and understand needs and trends. Seek to optimise Front Office and clients' experience/journeys. Proactively contribute to the good cooperation and working dynamics being a living example of OCBC and BOS core values. Qualifications A good degree and/or Master's degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or Technology. Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Change/Project Management, delivering complex, cross-functional projects, in Banking & Capital Markets. Strong domain knowledge of money markets products, including loans and deposits end-to-end lifecycle, from deal placement, booking and post-trade processes and workflows in private banking. Experience in driving changes with Agile methodology. Ability to perform deep-dive functional analyses, document process flows, define Target Operating Models, and User Guides for key applications. A good working understanding or experience in T24 would be advantageous. Ability to co-ordinate with stakeholders across functions and teams and manage complex interactions. Good logical thinking, intellectual curiosity and desire to improve how things are done. Strong communication skills, written and oral. Ability to lead and influence Agile delivery teams comprising Business Analysts, Tech Analysts, and Developers. Proficiency with MS Office toolset, Jira, Data analysis toolset.
