Marine After Sales Manager - ASEAN, Taiwan, Japan Country/Region: SG Location: SG, 10310 Job Description We are currently expanding our teams in Singapore and looking for new colleagues who will join our team at our location Lorong Chuan. Marine Aftermarket Sales Function 80%: Accountability for parts sales and service sales numbers including target setting and margin growth. Identifying Opportunities for parts sales and service sales and updating the monthly sales reports on a regular basis. AM Sales Support Function 10% and Technical Support Function 10%: Working alongside Area sales managers/account managers to understand the customer’s requirements and priorities. Taking ownership and ensuring effective communication of priorities by working out task/follow-up actions and tracking deadlines within the working team and the factory. Working with the service team to transfer knowledge of ILS development (docking spares, critical spares, long lead time spares, deport spares, spares for 1,000 hours, A1 to A5, Z1+ Z2, etc.). Maintaining an archive of models for ILS packages. Developing and archiving retrofitting packages for PTOs, trailing pumps for various models. Other responsibilities as assigned from time to time. Your profile: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Shipbuilding, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combined with a good understanding of the maritime industry. Minimum 8 years of parts/service sales and sales support experience working in a Marine After Sales and Service OEM or 3rd party marine repair and service provider providing technical sales and service support to fleet owners and operators, ship management companies, and shipyards for main and auxiliary equipment such as engines, gearboxes, thrusters, throttle controls, shaft lines, and propellers. Experience in understanding stakeholders' maintenance budget, operating and fleet maintenance profiles, and tailoring concepts to extend equipment life cycle through planned maintenance and long-term parts and service agreements is a requirement. Extensive knowledge of the regional Marine market with respect to vessel owners/operators, ship builders and repairers, ship management companies within the territory ASEAN, Taiwan, and Japan.
