Job Scope Identify and develop new business opportunities. Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers and prospects. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers and prospects to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to customers. Prepare and provide sales quotations to customers. Negotiate contracts, the terms of an agreement, and close sales. Establish sales objectives through effective forecasting. Provide support, information, and guidance to customers. Set sales forecasts, reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets. Interface with vendors/suppliers and build relationships. Be a team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Assist in implementing the sales strategy as set by the Sales Manager, including strategies for encouraging repeat business and up-selling. Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support and product development, to ensure customer needs are met. Maintain customers and partners/suppliers database – updating where necessary. Record the progress of all enquiries and translate them into a monthly report as directed by the respective sales manager. Ensure all customers are handled in a customer-oriented manner. Job Requirements Strong technical knowledge of the IT industry and its products and services. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills. Ability and desire for a sales job with a confident and determined approach. Mature, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Capable of thriving in competitive markets. Highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals. Meticulous, detailed, resourceful, and results-oriented. Work with high energy, self-responsibility, and determination. Cost-conscious, positive, and enthusiastic. Confident yet reassuring manner with clients. Well-organized with persistence in completing tasks on time. Pleasant and highly customer-oriented. Conscious and sensitive to business practices. Practical and realistic: responds quickly to customers and demonstrates efficiency. Good presentation skills and time management.
