PA Cum Local Sales & Import/Export Trade

We are seeking an experienced PA Cum Local Sales & Import/Export Trade to join our team at Hong Cheng Seafood Supplies Sdn Bhd in Parit Buntar, Perak. This is a full-time role that will play a crucial administrative and sales support function, assisting our leadership team in the day-to-day operations of the business. Job Description
  • Handling a variety of administrative tasks and secretarial support to the Marketing Director.
  • Assisting with local sales and import/export trade activities, including order processing, customer liaison, and documentation management.
  • Identifying and cultivating new sales leads through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Negotiating and closing sales deals with both local and international clients.
  • Managing the import and export of seafood products, including coordinating logistics, customs clearance, and delivery.
  • Maintaining detailed records of sales activities, customer information, and import/export transactions.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotional strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and competitors to identify new opportunities.
  • Working as a Translator with good written and fluency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar PA or administrative support role, ideally within the import/export or fast-moving consumer goods industry.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with office management software.
  • Knowledge of import/export processes and documentation, as well as experience in a sales support role.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
