Join our dynamic team and contribute to the future of renewable energy.Position Overview:We are seeking a passionate and skilled Energy Management Specialist - Renewable Systems to lead research and development initiatives in energy management systems, with a focus on battery degradation and the integration of BMS with EMS. This role requires a deep understanding of renewable energy technologies and battery lifecycle management. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting literature reviews, evaluating energy system integration options, and creating detailed research proposals aimed at addressing the key challenges in energy management.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to identify state-of-the-art approaches in renewable energy management and energy system integration.Assess existing strategies for addressing battery degradation in small microgrids, and propose innovative, cost-effective solutions.Develop detailed research papers and project proposals that align with organizational goals or funding objectives.Provide actionable recommendations based on theoretical analysis and literature findings.Evaluate the feasibility of different energy management system solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs in small microgrids.Investigate methods to optimize the integration of Battery Management Systems (BMS) with Energy Management Systems (EMS) to enhance system performance.Analyze and document the advantages and disadvantages of various integration approaches for presentation to stakeholders.Research and recommend strategies for improving energy management in small microgrids while minimizing operational costs.Consider battery degradation, maintenance costs, and lifecycle management when developing proposals and recommendations.Prepare detailed technical reports, white papers, and presentations to communicate research findings and proposed solutions effectively.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to refine proposals and ensure alignment with project objectives.Profile:Master's degree or PhD in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.Proven experience in research, proposal writing, and the development of energy management solutions, particularly in renewable energy systems.Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, battery management systems (BMS), and small microgrid architecture.Strong research and analytical abilities, with the capacity to evaluate and compare diverse energy management strategies.Exceptional technical writing skills, particularly in proposal development and report generation.Knowledge of energy systems modeling, battery degradation, and lifecycle management is a plus.Independent, responsible, and highly organized with excellent multitasking abilities.Demonstrated experience in strategic communication and event management.Self-starter with a proactive attitude.Flexibility to travel as required for collaborations, events, and meetings.Full proficiency in English with excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.What We Offer:The opportunity to work on impactful projects that contribute to sustainable innovation.A dynamic and innovative environment with exposure to leading academics and industry partners.Professional growth opportunities through diverse and meaningful projects.Flexible working hours and a supportive team culture.How to Apply:If you are passionate about renewable energy solutions, sustainable innovation, and ready to drive impactful projects, we would love to hear from you!Application Deadline: 31.12.2024Join MEAtec and become a key player in advancing renewable energy solutions and sustainable innovation through collaboration and strategic project management!
