Shipping, Operations and Admin AssistantImport Export company based in Ndabeni, Cape Town is seeking a highly organised and dedicated individual to join their team as a Shipping, Operations and Admin Assistant. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, be highly organised, and will be a supportive force in our shipping department. This person should have experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties, and providing support to managers.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsures organised shipping recordsTroubleshoots shipping issues and customer issues that arise, works to solve these administrative or organizational problems to increase efficiency.High level of speed and accuracy with excellent attention to detailDevelops knowledge about freight and sea shipping regulations and practicesProduces and checks shipping documentation required by customers and suppliersUpdating and maintaining accurate shipping informationInvoicing and payments proceduresAssisting with transport arrangements by sea, air, and roadDealing with customer enquiries relating to orders, shipments, and deliveriesEnsure correct document filing for Import shipmentProviding liaison between the company, Air/Sea Carrier, and couriersAbility to work well with management and staff at all levelsUndertaking various other administrative dutiesOwn reliable transport - punctualDesired Experience & QualificationDiploma in similar environment beneficialPrevious administrative experience in the shipping & logistics sector - beneficialGood knowledge of import/export documentationDetail-orientedSelf-motivatedPackage & RemunerationR20 000pm
