Grow together We are looking for a Senior Application Support Specialist to join our team who will seamlessly support the application to manage 100% uptime of the application. You will work with a team located in Chennai as well as Hyderabad, managing the EDM product, one of the important strategic document management platforms for DGF business. EDM is an IBM Product with FileNet workflows, having many custom Java tools built on top of it interacting with strategic applications through EDI/API interfaces. You will have the challenge of managing application support for a product with 100+ tools, involving many upstream and downstream applications. Here’s what we are looking for: As a Senior Application Support Specialist, having 4 – 5 years of experience in Linux and Oracle DB is a must.

• Able to work on permanent night shift.
• Experience in IBM FileNet workflow development, Java scripting, and OpenShift is a plus.
• Experience in FileNet P8 5.2 / 5.5 and strong knowledge in Content Platform Engine (CPE), IBM Content Navigator concepts is a good additional knowledge.
• Ideal candidates should be skilled in application troubleshooting and have an understanding of Incident & Problem Management processes.
• Manage, maintain, and support hardware and software configurations related to the EDM product.
• Diagnose, isolate, and debug application problems and perform problem resolution in a timely manner, including creating a case with IBM as needed.
• Monitor EDM system performance and take corrective action to optimize the usage of system resources.
• Coordinate with 3rd level & development support teams on changes/maintenance issues.
• Open to working under a 24 * 7 support model.
• Should be able to own the service delivery responsibilities and have experience in On-Call support.
• Housekeeping of applications and working to achieve RCA for any issues.
• Experience with database technologies, such as Oracle or SQL Server.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills:

• Content Management: FileNET P8 Content Engine, Application Engine, Process Engine, Business Process Manager (BPM), Content services, Workflow (eProcess 4.x/5.x)

• Languages: Java, C, C++, C#, VB, UML, SQL, HTML, CSS, XML, XSL, Javascript
• Technologies: EJB, Servlets, JDBC, .NET, ASP.
• OOAD Methodologies: UML, OO Design patterns, MVC design pattern, Rational Rose, IBM Engineering Workflow Management
• Application and Web servers: BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere, Apache Tomcat, IIS.
• DBMS: Oracle 10i/11g/12c, SQL Server 7.0, and/or equivalent.
