- Initiate and lead continuous research to understand latest design trends in the market, including master planning or urban design trend.
- Undertake macro & micro research including but not limited to macro-economic research, real estate industry research, consumer research and competitor study to identify market opportunity, market risk and competitive advantages.
- Liaise with local authority or other related agencies based on related landbanks, where necessary.
- Initiate and produce presentations/ reports/ proposals with well-supported insights and recommendations to management.
- Close liaison with Marketing Department to understand their product requirements.
- Develop design brief outlining the design requirements to architects, IDs and landscape architects.
- Explore and invite competent architects, IDs and landscape architects via selection process.
- Coordinate all design matters related to building architectural, ID, landscape and others that affect the aesthetic aspect of overall project to ensure designs are aligned.
- Define responsibilities and duties of staff.
- Work closely with architects and verify their design detailing to avoid design error.
- Accurately meet the schedule progress of project assigned from time to time.
- Consistently review profit and loss of project including cost analysis and the necessary corrective actions timely.
- Take responsibility for prevention of work-related injury and ill health.
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Architectural Studies, Urban Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of working experience in product development, strategic planning, and implementation preferably with consultancy firm, or property developer.
- Proficient in both written, spoken English and well versed in presentation.
- Proficient in MS Office suites especially MS Excel, MS Power Point.
- Proficiency in Adobe & Autodesk suites.
- Possess knowledge in Uniform Building by Law (UBBL), Bomba requirements, basic design guidelines and local authority requirements.
- Knowledge in BIM/Revit software is an added advantage.
- Experience with using GBI system is an added advantage.
- Financial literacy will be an added advantage.
