Pentrac Itron is seeking a conscientious Onsite Engineer that will be in charge of performing standard calibration processes on a variety of specialized equipment and responsible for recording and analyzing the results. The main role of the Onsite Engineer is to troubleshoot, problem solve and provide technical information to allow informed decision-making by the site manager and customer. The role will involve assisting technical teams with recommendations to resolve laboratory problems, roadblocks or equipment malfunctions that impact the performance or validity of testing. In addition, the Engineer is expected to assist in laboratory maintenance and improvement and should be able to work independently under minimal supervision. This role requires knowledge of industry-specific tests and lab equipment. Additionally, the position of Engineer typically requires a relevant degree. To be a fully certified Calibration Engineer typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. Job Duties:
- Calibration and troubleshooting, problem isolation & provide technical information for customer to make decisions wisely.
- Maintenance of the various calibration software platforms.
- Perform safety tests on equipment.
- Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or any related field.
- Preferably to have 2 to 3 years experience in a related field.
- Willing to travel.
