The Role:
You will take responsibility for a specific UK region where you will inherit plenty of existing trading accounts. That said, the thrust of this role will be new account acquisition. To this end, you will be given a huge amount of support from Marketing who will provide most of the leads that you work on. It will be up to you to qualify the lead and develop your pipeline of opportunities which will involve various stages of the sale including discovery, demonstration, objection handling etc.
The most successful BDM’s in their UK team spend significant time on ‘needs-analysis’, ensuring their solution is fit for purpose on a long-term basis.
Be successful and you will be given the opportunity to develop your career within BD, Senior Account Management or Team Leadership.
The Person:
It’s likely that you are a proven BD sales person with a track record of winning new accounts and exceeding your sales quota. Experience of Healthcare markets will be a distinct advantage.
The Rewards:
A basic salary of around £45 - 50,000 is on offer with an uncapped commission scheme where you can double your basic. Your full benefits package includes a Car Allowance, Healthcare and Pension.
