Commercial Strategy & Planning for SEA & NA Lead Market & Channel prioritisation efforts, ensuring that commercial activities are focused on the size of the prize and opportunities for growth, as well as mitigating commercial risks. Oversee the Integrated Business Planning (“IBP”) process including ownership of the “Strategy Delivery Office”. Lead strategic projects that support the overall Penfolds BU strategy across markets in South East Asia & North Asia. Translation of strategy into actionable market / distributor / channel / customer plans including setting targets / performance management / tracking and post-implementation reviews. Manage reporting of distribution & depletion performance including data sourcing through to scorecard across all SEA & NA regions against agreed KPIs. Business Insights & Intelligence, reporting on key market dynamics, trends, opportunities & risks. Commercial Insights into Action Making use of data-driven insights to inform long-term Asia strategies and growth opportunities, transforming these insights into actionable plans. Build business cases, including investment requirements, to execute on identified opportunities, determining the "size of the prize" for Asia Must Win markets, Distributors & Channel Customers. Lead the implementation of Must Win Battles and integrate them into Penfolds' strategic initiatives, including the 5-Year Plan (5YP) and the Global Volume Planning (GVP) framework. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert strategic opportunities into tangible commercial outcomes. Demand Planning for SEA & NA Drive Demand Planning process across all markets within the outlined regions of South East Asia & North Asia. Manage Depletion Reporting across all markets, ensuring it is accurate and timely. Forecast long and short-term demand for products with Sales including the biannual Global Volume Plan (“GVP”) submission. Collaborate with Global Rev Man team to allocate volume across channels & customers to optimise return. The region’s connection with Supply and Global Allocations. Ensure depletions data sources across regional markets are integrated and utilised effectively in Asia IBP process. About you 10+ years experience in senior strategy, commercial finance or planning roles. Tertiary qualification in business, finance, economics or other quantitative field. Considerable practical experience in strategy, business & commercial planning. Commercial and financial acumen; strong understanding of the financial implications of decisions and their broader impact. Ability to work with both short-term & long-term time frames and anticipate and act on opportunities or problems that are likely to arise. Excellent organisation and execution capabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Strategic thinking and complex problem solving. Brand, market and wine industry knowledge.
