Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer – Pasir Gudang
This is a full-time on-site role as an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer at PGEO Edible Oils Sdn Bhd - Refinery Division (A Member Of Wilmar Group Of Companies) located in Pasir Gudang . Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Power / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.
- 1-3 years of experience in plant electrical engineering work i.e., designing, planning, and overseeing construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of Siemens PLC (S7-300, S7-400 and S7-1500) will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Experience in project management preferred.
- Familiar with edible oil, food manufacturing and oleo processing plants.
- Provide support in electrical plant systems, including transformers, switchgear, motor control centres, control & instrument systems.
- In-charge of all electrical activities in the factory.
- Delegate electrical works to chargeman and wireman.
- Install and commission a range of electrical systems.
- Plan, organize, lead electricians and apprentices on preventive maintenance, instrument calibration, optimization, installation upgrading and control system (PLC, SCADA).
- Deal with and supervise sub-contractor teams where necessary.
- Inspect work to ensure compliance with standard procedures and electrical assignments.
- Maintain records on electrical jobs and assign to appropriate personnel.
- Comply with all policies, acts, regulations, and procedures implemented by the company and enforced by the governing bodies and authorities.
- Take part in the implementation of all management systems if required e.g., HACCP, GMP, HALAL, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, RSPO etc.
