What role you will play in the team Currently, we have an opportunity for an experienced Industrial Control Systems Engineer, and are looking for a passionate individual who enjoys working in a collaborative, diverse and challenging environment to join our team. This role is based in Menara ExxonMobil, Kuala Lumpur. What you will do If successful, you will take on a leading role for designated applications/platforms/technologies, providing global engineering support in the evaluation, design, qualification and integration into ExxonMobil's Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environment, as well as lifecycle management. Key deliverables include:

  1. Design, integrate and perform testing for designated applications/platforms/technologies to be used in ExxonMobil's ICS environment at sites around the world.
  2. Develop comprehensive procedures and guidance to standardize deployment, patching and migration.
  3. Provide elevated technical support and troubleshooting to sites.
  4. Close collaboration with business functions (e.g. enterprise IT) and external vendors to influence product releases, desired changes or change in architecture.
  5. Contribute / develop global roadmap to manage lifecycle and synergy across fleet of installed products at sites.
  6. Evaluate and propose new and alternate product releases; participate in research and development for new technologies.
  7. Meet ExxonMobil ICS requirements for safe, reliable and secure operations.
  8. Provide critical communication and information sharing to sites and be an active part of the global community of Control Systems Engineers.
About you Skills and Qualifications To be eligible for this role, you must have or be able to demonstrate the following:
  1. Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology.
  2. Experience supporting Industrial Control Systems and/or automation projects in the petrochemical, manufacturing or similar industry.
  3. Understanding of ICS architecture and environment including operational aspects such as reliability, redundancy, high availability, remote support, business continuity and disaster recovery.
  4. Experience / hands-on with Virtualization, Windows Servers and Active Directory, Database administration, OPC, Ethernet networking.
  5. Skills in scripting or compiled programming languages to develop tools, automation or solutions (e.g. PowerShell, VB.Net).
  6. Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts for Industrial Control Systems.
  7. Experience with software configuration, integration, testing and technical documentation.
  8. Behavioral traits:
