Job Description Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with chemists to lead a team of lab analysts and technicians in executing daily laboratory operations. Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and implement quality systems to maintain operational excellence. Develop and validate analytical methods for testing chemical compounds, ensuring accuracy, precision, and reliability. Identify and drive initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and productivity. Oversee equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning to meet quality and operational standards. Ensure analytical tools are in proper working condition for accurate testing and analysis. Provide technical support in new product development processes, analytical metrology, and quality assurance. Work with other departments on continuous improvement projects to achieve business objectives and operational excellence. Conduct quality control tests, inspections, and analyses to ensure products meet standards and specifications. Investigate deviations, out-of-specification results, and quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). Serve as a quality expert to ensure products meet customer requirements. The Successful Applicant Requirements: Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with relevant experience. Proficient in operating advanced laboratory instruments, such as: ICP/MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry), GC/MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry), HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography), UV-Vis, GC/FID/TCD, IC, ICP/OES, NIR, and other analytical tools. Experience in specialty chemicals or semiconductor wafer fab environments is an advantage. Hardworking, adaptable, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment. A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks systematically, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced setting. Ability to travel as required for the role.
