The expected base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $230,000.

An exciting opportunity exists to take on a leadership role at one of the world's top universities. Reporting to the Dean, Faculty of Health and Social Development, the Director will serve as a key member of the Faculty's executive team with overall responsibility for academic leadership and administration in the School.
The Director will provide visionary leadership, strategic planning, and operational management to achieve the School's academic, research, and community engagement goals. The candidate will bring a track record of collegial leadership, scholarly eminence, and academic distinction with a demonstrable commitment to interdisciplinarity, research, and teaching excellence in kinesiology and/or health science disciplines.
Experience with developing and implementing successful and innovative partnerships with professional organizations, regulators, health service agencies, and government ministries is required. To align with the School's investment in advancing JEDI and decolonization initiatives, the successful candidate will bring a track record of meaningful experience in these areas.
At the rank of Associate Professor, the successful candidate will have demonstrated evidence of successful teaching and ability to direct graduate students, evidence of sustained and productive scholarly activity, and must be willing to participate in the affairs of the School and the University. At the rank of Professor, the successful candidate will have demonstrated appropriate standards of excellence in teaching and have received wide recognition in their sustained and productive scholarly activity.
