Description The Plumbing-Piping Foreman occupies a key supervisory role within a construction or building mechanics company. He is responsible for supervising activities related to plumbing and piping on construction sites, such as residential, commercial, institutional and industrial projects. His role consists of ensuring effective coordination of teams, compliance with deadlines and quality standards, as well as fluid communication with other project stakeholders. Responsibilities •Supervise teams of plumbers and pipefitters on construction sites. •Plan and organize plumbing and piping activities based on project timelines and requirements. •Possibility, depending on the company, to participate in mechanical/plumbing work with your tools. •Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards during the installation of plumbing and piping systems. •Coordinate the work with other trades present on the site, such as electricians, carpenters and masons. •Supervise the reading and interpretation of plans and technical specifications. •Participate in the assessment of material and equipment needs for plumbing and piping projects. •Train and supervise team members, ensuring their professional development and safety. •Carry out regular inspections on construction sites to ensure compliance with current standards and regulations. •Provide administrative management related to plumbing and piping activities, including work documentation and report management. Requirements •Degree in plumbing or piping, an asset. •Valid competency certificate. •Significant experience in the field of plumbing, piping and/or mechanical systems, with prior experience in supervision or team management, an asset. •In-depth knowledge of installation techniques and materials used in plumbing, piping and mechanics. •Skills in reading plans and interpreting technical specifications. •Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. •Excellent communication and leadership skills. •Attention to detail and rigor in the application of quality and safety standards. •Valid driver's license and availability to travel to job sites according to business needs. •Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
