Associate Manager, Sales Account Management (North & East Coast)

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for our North and East Coast regions to strategically build a sustainable and profitable growth for our global leading brands in Pest Control, Air Care and Home Cleaning categories. This role is responsible to develop strong General Trade channel strategy and plan that deliver targeted Sales and Market shares as well as possess critical thinking skills to analyze and identify insights that build and sustain professional relationship with customers to drive quality distribution management, route-to-market and business expansion, Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible to deliver strong sell-in and sell-out performance vs target of total North and East Coast region, manage and track trade spend and margin to deliver healthy P&L and grow market shares.
- Lead to develop GT region strategy plan, initiate stakeholder buy-in, ensure prompt execution excellence of plans, motivates and track result for further opportunities and/or cause correction.
- Strong leadership skills - Develop and maintain high quality Sales Team as well as inspire and motivate Direct and Indirect Teams to achieve JBP KPIs per KPIs set for the year.
- Develop and track Joint Business Planning (JBP) with Distributor and Key-Customers for short- and long-term business growth and sustainable profitability.
- Manage and coach distributor’s team on execution excellence in-store, deliver perfect store guidelines, route plans and product knowledge to achieve best-in-class executions on displays, product assortment, share of shelf improvement and Planogram compliance.
- Strong interpersonal skill and work closely with cross functional teams of Marketing, Customer Marketing, Finance, Sales Operations and Supply Chain to achieve strong customer growth plans
- Take initiative, accountability and follow-through on weekly estimates, monthly sales bottom-up forecast accuracy, monthly trade spend claims and all other trade related activities including on-time payment collection and trade spend settlements
- Responsible to review and continuously negotiate for trading term improvements with Customers
- Demonstrate and lead by example of SCJ Values, Leadership Skillset and drive for results.
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 8-10 years working experience in Regional Sales Manager and distributor management, preferably in Fast-Moving Consumer Good (FMCG) Industry
- Knowledge in Distributor Management Systems (DMS)will be an added advantage
- Fluent level in Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin and English
- Strategic and Critical Thinking with strong analytical and negotiation skills, and strong presentation skill.
- Must be proficient in MS Office (MS Excel & MS PowerPoint)
- Must possess valid driving license, own transport and willing to travel.
