We love solving big challenges and are focused on providing Canadians with better access to the care they need.The Engineering TeamOperating in sprints, the Engineering team is agile and quickly iterates product design to constantly push the boundaries of possibility. As the mobile team lead, you will be responsible for leading the development team for multiple mobile applications and ensuring the team adheres to best practices and coding standards. You will work closely with the Mobile Engineering Manager to ensure timelines are met and issues or roadblocks amongst developers are swiftly resolved.THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELLWrite well-documented, clean and concise code using Javascript, React Native and Typescript.Stay up to date with best practices for mobile app development.Work closely with Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Design teams to understand requirements, set goals, and ensure timely delivery of projects.Lead daily stand ups and sprint related meetings.Conduct architecture review of new features.Break requirements down into technical tickets and assign them out to the team.Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality of team members.Ensure tickets are completed in a timely manner according to release schedules.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR2-4 years of mobile development experience (iOS and Android).Strong-level knowledge of React Native, JavaScript and Typescript and various frameworks, libraries.Experience releasing applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.Experience in designing and maintaining efficient, scalable and clean code bases.Experience working with and/or leading developers.
