For more information about our Company, our People and our Values, please follow the link Ansell . Position Overview: Ansell is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to be based in Penang, Malaysia . This position is to manage and develop our strategic customer and distributor relationships and achieve accelerated growth in our core scientific market segments. In addition to managing a geographic territory, this position will need to collaborate across regions to develop capability, share successes and contribute to the growth of the overall Ansell business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly assess, analyse, prioritise, plan and execute Ansell’s Life Science Strategy in order to achieve defined business and share of sector objectives.
  • Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships at site and regional decision-making levels.
  • Ensure Ansell is business-ready to maximize existing contract renewals and formulate pricing strategies for regional accounts.
  • Utilize SFDC to prospect for new customers and qualify leads while supporting key accounts and the regional team in managing end-users and channels.
  • Develop, plan, and implement sales strategies within the territory collaborating with the Inside Sales and regional sales team to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and prioritise new business and growth opportunities.
  • Plan effective joint end-user engagement strategies with Distributor teams.
  • Utilize Ansell selling technologies for reporting, lead generation, and conversion tracking.
  • Prepare territory-wide end-user call cycle plan for quarterly cycling.
  • Summarize and share key market information/trends and competitive activities.
  • Create awareness and demand for company products through market insights.
  • Develop technical expertise related to products and industry.
  • Represent Ansell effectively at local territory trade shows and industry forums.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B environments.
  • Demonstrated selling/channel experience in the Life Science sector preferred.
  • Experience in consultative selling methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Life Science distribution networks is an advantage.
  • Existing industry, end-user, reseller network is an advantage.
  • Sound analytical skills in gathering data and eliciting key outcomes.
  • Budget and reporting skills.
  • Negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
