Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will be selling e-learning, training and certification solutions to corporate and financial sectors across APAC. Client Details Our client is a leading provider of e-learning, certifications, and training solutions specifically tailored to the financial services industry. Their cutting-edge solutions help financial institutions stay compliant, improve employee skills, and enhance organizational performance. As they continue to expand their presence in the APAC region, they are looking for a Sales Director to drive new business, build relationships with key financial services institutions, and generate revenue across the region. Description Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the APAC region, targeting financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and others, as well as corporate overall. Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities in the region, focusing on organizations looking to enhance employee learning and compliance through e-learning solutions. Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through to closing, ensuring a smooth and efficient process that drives revenue growth. Relationship Building & Account Management: Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, HR leaders, compliance officers, and training managers. Provide consultative selling to understand client needs and position tailored e-learning solutions, certifications, and training programs that align with their strategic goals. Retain and grow existing client accounts by identifying new opportunities for upselling additional services and programs. Market Intelligence & Lead Generation: Stay up to date with the latest trends, regulations, and challenges in the financial services industry to ensure your sales strategies remain relevant and effective. Conduct market research to identify new potential clients and understand the competitive landscape. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment in lead generation efforts and the development of effective campaigns. Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM tools. Report regularly on sales progress, performance against targets, pipeline health, and competitive intelligence to the leadership team. Provide detailed feedback on customer needs and market trends to inform the company's product development and customer success strategies. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with trainers, product, customer success, and marketing teams to align sales strategies with company goals and ensure customer satisfaction. Provide feedback to internal teams based on client insights to help refine offerings and improve customer experience. Profile 10+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of selling e-learning, training solutions, or SaaS products to the financial services or other corporate sectors. Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including the unique challenges faced by financial institutions around compliance, training, and employee development. A demonstrated ability to close large, complex deals and generate consistent revenue growth in a competitive market.
