Accountant (招聘)(Project Accounting)

Why this role? You will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. Your responsibilities will include managing full set accounts, project accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, tax, and financial reporting. What will you be doing?

1. Manage project accounting including project costs, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis.
2. Prepare project reports and track project performance.
3. Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding receivables.
4. Prepare and analyze aging reports.
5. Process accounts payable and pay supplier invoices.
6. Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
7. Manage treasury and banking including cash flow and bank reconciliations.
8. Handle foreign exchange transactions and trade finance.
9. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
10. Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting and financial statements.
11. Coordinate with insurance agents and process claims.
12. Maintain accurate fixed asset records.
13. Coordinate with auditors and address audit queries.
14. Post journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
15. Utilize accounting software to maintain financial records.
16. Troubleshoot system issues and implement system enhancements.
17. Guide and mentor junior staff to ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.

Are you the one?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or ACCA.
• At least 5 years in handling full-set accounting, preferably with project accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin are preferred as the role requires candidates to deal with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Possess own transport and willing to work at Bukit Raja, Klang.
