Leadless Clinical Specialist This position works out of our UAE (or Saudi Arabia) location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division. About Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Division As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats. What You'll Do:

  1. Provide primary case support for initial leadless implants in accordance with the instructions for use, using deep knowledge of best practices, clinical data, and comprehensive technical product expertise.
  2. Partner with local sales teams to ensure the safe expansion of leadless therapy within their local accounts and transfer of technical expertise to the commercial team.
  3. Support Regional (EMEA) physician training programs, leveraging significant hands-on training, by facilitating the physician training experience, in partnership with the EMEA Leadless education team.
  4. Develop trusting relationships with physician implanters based on demonstrated technical and clinical acumen.
  5. Oversee local education and training activities including coordination, set-up, and content delivery. Facilitate simulated procedures, troubleshooting, and instruction for relevant parties including local Abbott teams, hospital staff, physicians, and clinic personnel.
  6. Participate (pro-) actively in local Abbott personnel certification on AVEIR technology as per EMEA education guidelines and processes.
  7. Complete administrative tasks when necessary, such as case tracking and monitoring physician progress through training.
  8. Provide feedback to internal stakeholders to improve future customer experiences.
  9. Use best business practices to ensure success and cost-effectiveness in areas of responsibility.
  10. Extensive travel (>80%) both nationally & internationally is required for the role.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, engineering, or equivalent/related experience.
  2. 3-5 years clinical medical device experience or equivalent; advanced experience with CRM products is preferred.
  3. Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, both in Local Language (any other local language is a plus) & in English.
  4. High-level of comfort in navigating the medical environment, including labs and hospital settings.
  5. A comprehensive ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.
  6. Ability to collaborate and work with others effectively.
  7. Proven success displaying confidence in leading and influencing customers; ability to confidently provide guidance to course correct as needed.
  8. High level of flexibility in a fast-moving environment.
  9. Willingness to travel in country and within EMEA region extensively; this position requires considerable business travel.
  10. Ability to prepare and present effectively written and verbal communications.
  11. Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications, such as Microsoft Office.
  12. Experience with medical device simulators (such as Mentice, CAE healthcare,…) is a plus.
  13. Experience working on in vivo models is a plus.
  14. Professional training/education certification or experience is a plus.
  15. Previous sales experience and/or demonstrated business acumen is a plus.
