As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Seaford Rise, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks. In this role, you will:
- Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
- Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
- Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
- Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
- Goodstart Early Learning Seaford Rise is located in the south of Adelaide in the growing Seaford area.
- The centre is either a short drive or in walking distance from the beautiful Moana and Seaford beaches, Seaford train station, Seaford Shopping Centre and nearby schools and the McLaren Vale wineries.
- Hours of work Monday to Friday 10.00am – 6.30pm
- Float role working across all rooms
- Licenced for 90 children, catering to all early learning age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years.
- The centre is open from 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
- The centre has 4 large indoor rooms and 2 large yards to cater for the ever inquisitive and growing minds of the children within their care.
- Sustainability has become embedded in the programs the children are encouraged to recycle, reuse and reduce.
- The centre has long servicing educators taking the centre from strength to strength building strong relationships with families.

- A Diploma or bachelor’s in early childhood education
- Hold a current Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
- Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
- Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
- Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
