Senior Interior Designer

Grada Recruitment have partnered with one of Auckland's most well-known commercial fit-out practices on the search for a Senior Interior Designer. The opportunity to take a leading position within a well-established, award-winning firm.

About the Role

Working mainly in the Commercial and Workspace sector, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients to create and deliver unique and innovative designs, whilst mentoring and leading a team.

The Company

The opportunity to join a diverse and award-winning interior design team in Auckland. They have an agile, vibrant, and social work environment, with an open and collaborative approach across the studio to create a 'one studio' culture. Consistently competing with the larger, well-known commercial practices, they have excellent design and projects in place - with none of the egos! They are looking for someone who loves design and a good team to do it with!

Skills and Experience:

1. At least 5 years' industry experience within commercial interiors; residential experience unfortunately will not align with this role.
2. A portfolio of work demonstrating experience in and talent for commercial areas such as workplace.
3. Deep understanding of current and future commercial design trends.
4. Technical skills that transform design ideas to detailed drawings.
5. Ability to take a project full cycle from brief through to completion with confidence in a client-facing position.
6. Experience using Revit.
7. Must have full working rights within NZ as well as being in the country to be suitable for this position.
