Location: Mumbai Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to spearhead business generation efforts in the traditional trade for our premium skincare product range. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, specifically in the skincare or beauty industry, and will be responsible for expanding our footprint in the traditional retail space. This is a great opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth of our brand. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development: Actively identify and acquire new customers (retailers, distributors, etc.) within the traditional trade sector to drive sales of skincare products.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while establishing rapport with new business partners to ensure long-term loyalty and business growth.
- Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities within the traditional trade network (pharmacies, beauty stores etc.) to expand product distribution and increase market share.
- Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, ensuring consistent business growth through effective prospecting and closing strategies.
- Product Knowledge & Training: Stay up to date on product offerings, market trends, and competitor activities. Educate clients on the benefits and features of the skincare products to drive sales.
- Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to the management team. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
- Promotions & Trade Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to implement sales promotions, in-store displays, and other marketing initiatives aimed at boosting product visibility and sales within the traditional trade channels.
- Market Feedback: Gather and report customer feedback, concerns, and trends to improve product offerings and sales strategies.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the skincare, beauty, or personal care industry. Experience in traditional trade (pharmacies, beauty stores, and other retail outlets) is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of traditional trade channels and their dynamics.
- Education: A degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related fields is preferred.
