AccountivityStaffing is hiring!Our client in Peel Region, ON is actively looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.Job Title: Senior Financial AnalystLocation: Peel Region, ONLength of Assignment: PermanentSalary: $95,000-$100,000Job DescriptionProvide business support, leadership and stewardship to sales and management for the divisionSupport Month End and Year End ClosingMonthly KPI reporting for local entity and group consolidationSupport Controller in Forecasting and Budgeting for the divisionOwning responsibility for consolidated P&L reporting and analysis incl. revenue, margin and SG&A. Prepare monthly reporting packageProactively identify improvement measures and drive implementationPerform Month GL reconciliation and AnalysisMonitor and control other Key Performance Indicator incl. A/R, Inventories and HeadcountSupport to develop new reports to support Business activity and for new KPIProvide reporting on customer sales allowances, bonus and commissionsDriving gross margin analysis and provide deep dives to communicate to the businessSupport journal entries for accrued liabilities and provisionsAd hoc analysis and reporting incl. new business opportunities and sales promotionsProject and other tasks as assignedWork in close conjunction with company guidelines to ensure governance and legal compliance with accounting and financial practices, and provide financial support to the various stakeholdersQualifications5-7 years of experience in a distribution environmentCompleted Post-Secondary Degree Business or Accounting & FinanceCompleted CPA or CMA Designation is an assetStrong MS Office ability (Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook)Experience with AS400, SAP or any other ERP systemAbility to work with a positive attitude and in a professional mannerStrong interpersonal and communication skills with can do attitudeStructured approach to problem solving, producing high quality work, with demonstrated follow-throughStrong analysis skills and broad business acumenLead continuous improvement initiativesAbility to work in a fast paced, changing environment, with hard deadlinesSelf-Awareness, the ability to plan for the future and work with minimum supervisionTeam player who understands when to constructively challenge the groups thinkingAbility to focus on the customer needs and understand issues from varying perspectivesExcellent organizational skills plus ability to manage multiple prioritiesIf you meet the above qualifications, please submit your resume.Please note that while we appreciate all applications, only those being considered will be contacted.
