What you'll do As well as completing the industrial training component of your degree, you will be working on real projects with real responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to develop to your full potential and beyond, alongside owners of the business whilst experiencing the variety and diversity of consulting engineering, alongside owners of our business. Through this experience, you will learn to do the following:
  • As part of a broader team, you will assist with the design and development of civil infrastructure on urban development projects ranging from roads, stormwater, or water and sewer reticulation.
  • Exposure to engineering design projects by a project brief and fee.
  • Liaise with drafters across the business to enable the preparation of documentation.
  • Ensure that any work that you complete is compliant with applicable codes and policies.
  • Coordinate and assist with the preparation of technical reports.
  • Participate in site investigations under the supervision and guidance of an experienced engineer.
