Job Summary

  • To be an expert in assessing store(s) capacity and optimal replenishment solutions for the stores in the market.
  • To balance commercial and supply needs with store(s) capacity.
  • Support the optimal use of available store(s) capacity, resulting in the highest level of customer perceived availability at the lowest possible total cost.

Your Assignment

  • Assess current and planned store capacity in terms of future needs and identify solutions for increasing capacity at the lowest possible costs and a highly commercial range presentation.
  • Monitor and report the store(s) capacity situation and planned development over a five-year period for inclusion in the overall supply chain capacity planning.
  • Provide the Logistics Director with recommended actions to address any identified capacity imbalances and act as input to expansion plans.B
  • Based on current and future store capacities provide the Logistics Director with recommendations as input to the decision process for the store(s) range classification.
  • Actively contribute to the definition of optimal replenishment solutions by providing information on the retail capacity and safeguarding a healthy gross margin.
  • Together with the stores, identify and analyze retail capacity constraints and possibilities in order to maximize commercial opportunities.
  • As an expert in-store capacity solutions and utilization, share knowledge with colleagues and business partners to support their competence development, particularly an understanding of the consequences of a lack of, or wrongly utilized, store capacity.

Qualification

  • Minimum experience of 5 years working in a specialist/senior retail and/or logistics role with excellent skills in retail and/or logistics processes, tools and working methods.
  • Deep knowledge about existing capacity solutions and their impact on the logistics operation.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills with the ability to identify required business actions.
  • Tactical and operational thinking.
  • Ability to meet agreed goals with flexibility, speed, simplicity with an efficient and cost-effective performance.
  • Ability to think commercially by balancing efficiency, inspiration, and profitability.
  • Self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
