About Us: For over 60 years, Clever Care NOW has been caring for the community. We operate on a not-for-profit basis and provide in-home care, private and mobile nursing, personal care, assisted transport, physiotherapy and day trips to ensure our clients can live at home independently for as long as possible. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our supportive and friendly clinical team. The Role: We are seeking a flexible and empathetic PCA to engage in rewarding and diverse work, treating clients in their homes and providing services such as showering, dressing and wellness checks. There is also the opportunity to be involved in our Day Tripper program which offers a variety of social outings to our clients and helps them live life to the fullest. You’ll be part of a highly supportive and collaborative clinical team who are passionate about delivering high quality, empathetic and respectful care that aligns with industry best practice and customer-focused care principles. Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with senior clinical staff to implement individual care plans for each client.
- Perform domestic and household tasks (including basic meal preparation).
- Prompt simple prescribed medications.
- Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living.
- Assist clients with mobility, physical therapies and exercise.
- Provide companionship and basic emotional and psychological support.
- Maintain documentation and work as part of a team to ensure client health and wellbeing is optimised.

- Previous Aged Care experience (desirable).
- Certificate in Aged Care or Community Services.
- Current Basic Life Support, CPR and First Aid Certificates.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current driver’s licence, reliable motor vehicle and full driving history report.
- Preparedness to drive (or learn to drive) a passenger transport van.
