Vacation Student - Mechanical Engineering (Perth)

Your role

The Hatch Vacation Student Program   provides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills. They will help you through the transition, bridging the gap between your education and career. As part of the Mechanical & Piping team, you will gain exposure to Mechanical & Piping design engineering activities on a range of exciting projects across the resources and energy sectors. You may be involved in various phases of projects from conceptual design, and feasibility studies, to detailed engineering. The Professional Development Program With Hatch, you will build professional relationships with renowned experts, and champion great initiatives for reputable, well-known clients. You will belong to a company that fosters career growth, encourages continuous improvement and is pioneering in nature. The 12-week program commences on Monday, 18 Nov 2024. During this time Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday, 20 December 2024 and will reopen Monday, 6 January 2025. You will have opportunities to:

About you

Qualifications:

• You will be working towards a bachelor/master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, ideally in your third year (or later) of study, with a strong academic record
• Candidates will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and will be collaborators with the ability to think laterally and innovatively to solve problems
• You will also have an interest in exploring a future with a global consulting company and are committed to creating positive change
