Senior Accountant

Client Focused on understanding each client’s unique position, this accounting practice services clients from individuals to small or larger businesses and has built their reputation in Christchurch for being transparent and working with their clients to deliver top quality no surprises service. Role As a Senior Accountant with management aspirations, you will demonstrate a keen understanding of what it takes to lead a team and deliver quality outcomes for clients. You will:

1. Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns.
2. Support Client Manager on projects as required (valuations, structuring, mentoring, acquisitions, etc.).
3. Train and mentor juniors.
4. Engage with clients.

Skills & Experience Ideally, you will have experience in an accounting practice and can work well in a team. You will also need:

1. CA qualified with 3+ years PQE (post qualified experience).
2. Aptitude for management - excellent people skills.
3. Attention to detail and work management.
4. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
