An opportunity is available for an engaging Senior Legal Executive to join the Quest (a member of Ascott Australia) in-house Legal team. The Role Based in Melbourne, in our modern and flexible hybrid corporate office and reporting to our General Counsel, this role can be made flexible hybrid (50% of your time is spent working and collaborating in person with the team and 50% working flexibly each week). We are seeking a skilled Senior Legal Executive to work with our highly engaged team of 5 legal professionals providing administrative support and leasing assistance, preparing legal documents and communicating with internal stakeholders. The Legal team supports all areas of the Quest business, in particular, the two key revenue drivers being the Growth (new Hotel developments) and Franchising (which includes franchise sales and renewals) teams. The Legal team also supports other areas of the Quest business such as Brand and Marketing, People and Culture, IT and Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to be part of a high-performing, supportive & dynamic in-house legal team. About You: Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role; Have exposure in one or more of the following areas: commercial and franchising law, leasing and property-related documentation, and company secretarial matters; Be highly organized with strong attention to detail; have strong technical skills and previous experience working with legal matter management systems; Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships; Have the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
