About the role As a Production Supervisor at D3 INNOVATION (M) SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the production process. This full-time position is based in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, and will involve overseeing and coordinating the work of the production team to meet the company's manufacturing goals. What you'll be doing
- Supervising and directing the daily activities of the production team to ensure timely and high-quality output
- Monitoring and optimizing production workflows to improve efficiency and productivity
- Identifying and resolving production-related issues, bottlenecks, and quality control problems
- Providing training and support to production team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
- Collaborating with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to coordinate and streamline the production process
- Maintaining accurate records and generating reports on production metrics and team performance
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficient in reading and interpreting production data, reports, and technical documents
- A strategic mindset and the ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Relevant qualifications in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field would be an advantage
