JOB TITLE: Head of CBD Singapore JOB LOCATION: Singapore RELOCATION TERMS: Local terms The Head of CBD Singapore is responsible for building a high-performance team culture, developing country strategic plans based on a thorough understanding of market dynamics, identifying and maximizing business opportunities, driving category thought leadership with strategic partners, developing and executing customers/channels strategy, and translating category jobs to be done into customer joint business plans to deliver sustainable growth, profitability, and competitiveness. Reporting to: MYSG General Manager Direct reports: Modern Trade Head, Distributive Trade, Customer Development Excellence, dCommerce Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop an inspiring long-term USPL vision integrating category vision, retailers’ strategy, shoppers’ insight, competitive landscape, and market potential. Ensure the country vision is communicated to convince people to be part of the journey. Win in every channel within modern trade, distributive trade, and digital commerce by executing design for channel framework; understanding shopper mission of each channel, defining the segmentation, and implementing a 6Ps strategy. Build a high-performance team culture and foster good collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to translate category & channel jobs to be done into customer joint business plans. Build a strong and influential relationship with key strategic partners to make USPL the go-to partner for category management collaboration. Be passionate about winning with shoppers in every store served, focusing on great fundamental execution, disrupting shoppers’ path to purchase, and winning at every key touchpoint. Strategically redesign trade investment plans by channel to ensure investments are utilized efficiently to deliver growth, profitability, and strategic priorities. Maintain the ability to take a big-picture view in any situation, weigh options, make logical and sound decisions confidently, and influence others to agree. Develop and future-fit team capabilities in data-driven decision-making, net revenue management, digital commerce, and digital marketing, ensuring a strong succession pipeline for key leadership roles. Traveling 50% of the time. KEY REQUIREMENTS: More than 9 years of business experience, preferably with diverse experience in Distributive Trade management, Key Account Management, and Channel & Category Development / Trade Marketing / Customer Strategy and Planning. Strong customer-facing experience and proven track record are a must. Proven people management capabilities. Marketing experience is desired.
