Job Description - Trade Sales Specialist (240001K4)

Responsibilities

1. Achieve trade fee income & interest/profit income budget.
2. Drive customers’ utilization of trade products and services offered to achieve the set targets.
3. Assess customers’ wallet and future opportunities.
4. Develop and follow through for closure of new deals.
5. Provide specialist’s advisory/support to customers and internal business units in pursuing new customers/business.
6. Perform transactional servicing and manage customers’ expectations.
7. Conduct trade product knowledge and sales training to business partners to increase awareness with the objective of expanding customer base.
8. Perform customer visitation and maintain regular telephone communication.
9. Work with trade product and marketing team to organize related marketing campaigns and customer appreciation events or seminars with objectives aligned with incremental customer base, utilization, and fee income target.
10. Cross-sell other related products such as cash management, fx, and marine cargo insurance.
11. Work with business unit to acquire customers within the bank’s target market segments.
12. Work with product managers to roll out new products/services and marketing collaterals, provide market intelligence, and solicit customer feedback on trade offerings for resolutions through respective units.
13. Prepare necessary reports, track and measure achievements.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 5 years banking experience with 3 years exposure in the area of trade finance and services as an added advantage, and at least 3 years in sales-centric roles.
2. Sales and service oriented.
3. Independent, willing to travel, results-oriented, and resourceful.
4. A business-related degree will be an added advantage.
