Assistant Engineering Manager (Hydro-Mechanical)

Department : Hydel Education : B.Tech / B.E in Mechanical Job Location : Faridabad We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in Hydro Mechanical engineering and project coordination for various Hydel projects. As a key member of team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Tender and Post award engineering activity related to Hydro Mechanical packages of various Hydel (Conventional & PSP) Projects, ensuring their successful completion within Budget, schedule, and project requirement. Your Technical expertise in hydro mechanical engineering combined with your project management skills, will play a vital role in delivering cutting edge solutions. Role & responsibilities:

• Technical review of tender specifications and layout drawings, estimations of BOQ for HM works.
• Familiar and knowledge of codes/standards i.e., IS-4622/23; IS-5620; IS-9349; IS 6938; IS 10210, IS 11388; IS 11855 latest editions, IS-800, IS 3177 etc.,
• To carry out detail design calculations and analysis for HM components.
• To develop detailed drawings for HM components.
• Co-ordinate with internal & external stake Holders, including, Owners, PMC, Contractors, vendors, sub-contractors, to ensure efficient project co-ordination and successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including design document, technical specifications, progress reports.
• Conduct thorough technical review, and inspections to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliances with project requirements.
• Acts as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing their technical queries, clarifying requirements, and managing expectation throughout the project life cycle.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization and technological advancement in engineering & project managements.
