Senior Software Engineer (Fixed Term - 12 months) - Testing Chapter - Transactional Banking Platform, Lending. About the role: The Transactional Banking platform is the heart of the bank providing all the cool online / real-time transactional services that power ASB. As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will be supporting the Lending squad - this squad owns numerous services including lending apps , our platform to support lending for retail & business. You'll be part of a team at the forefront of working to deliver and support a secure, functional and performant ecosystem to our financial market's customers. About you: We are looking for an individual that will take ownership of our quality, drive continuous change for the squad and customers to ensure we are delivering best possible outcomes. You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of Testing and deliver products that delight our customers. We are looking for someone who has:

• 5+ years of software test engineering experience
• Develop / maintain test automation framework for Web, Desktop & APIs
• Desktop, Web and API Test automation experience with C# (or any programming/scripting language)
• Proven knowledge across functional, system, integration, and end to end testing
• API testing experience using Postman or similar tool
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Good understanding and experience of working using Agile principles

In addition, any of the following would be an advantage:

• Working knowledge of performance testing preferably Load Runner
• Experience with Lending applications
• Certified in ISTQB Fundamentals
