Chemical Process Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Research and design new equipment for adopting new technology.
2. Operate and test pilot scale facilities.
3. Participate in new process transfer and outsourcing projects.
4. Cooperate with plant engineers to set up and ramp up new manufacturing processes.
5. Search papers, interpret data, and analyze test results as part of research work.
6. Conduct experiments, tests, and analyses to investigate chemical composition, materials, and products.
7. Collect and interpret process data for pilot and commercial plants.
8. Improve and develop each component of pilot scale facilities.
9. Participate in research and development projects.
10. Report on each project.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s/Master’s in Chemistry (Chemical Engineering) or related science major such as Material Science.
2. At least 5 years of experience in production engineering or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety regulations.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is preferred.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Positive attitude, passionate about collaborative teamwork, and excel at interpersonal skills.
9. Chemical process engineering experience is preferred.
10. Fluent in English.
