IT Plant/Labs Operations Specialist

Job Description: Support continuous improvements of IT processes, manage applications tasks in line with global IT targets and IT Security and Infrastructure standards, coordinate with Business counterparts to ensure harmonized utilization of corporate applications. Responsibilities :
- Develop deep domain knowledge of Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering functions, and relevant related applications/software.
- Ability to be proactive and forward-thinking regarding changes in the Applications portfolio and organizational needs to ensure that the business can adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing landscape
- Emphasize the importance of clear and effective communication by highlighting the role of language as a critical element in effective communication.
- Analyze operations software & tools in use. Coordinate and prioritize related projects. Capability for identifying new potential tools to better support the corresponding business processes
- Working knowledge of the chemical industry and major business processes
- Solid understanding of Manufacuring, Engineering and Laboratory areas
- Broad understanding of the current and emerging Digital and technology trends and developments, particularly in Plant operations: MES, LIMS, eLAB or ELN, CMMS, etc.
- Strong working knowledge of IT governance policies and practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as an ability to communicate effectively with various levels of staff
- 4 to 6 years of work experience on Plant Operations related roles with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments within Chemical or related industries.
- Preferably capabilities in related operations areas like SFC, Labs, Engineering and Innovation, and related software utilization. SAP knowledge is nice to have, particularly integration with other Plant operations applications
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
