Reporting to the Head of Capital Markets Singapore, this is a hybrid role as a junior trader providing dealing support for multi-assets within the Capital Markets team. We are looking for an aspiring individual who is able to integrate technology into the trading process. This position provides an excellent opportunity to be exposed to Equities, Bonds, Futures, Listed and OTC Securities Derivatives, Structured Products, and FX & Precious Metals related products in the Capital Markets team. The career path can be either one, or remain as hybrid for an established and expanding bank. Key Responsibilities Dealing Support Good spreadsheet skills to troubleshoot and enhance existing blotters. Ability to create new automation for any existing/new tasks. Perform Middle Office tasks, for example: check deal details, trades reconciliation with back-office and counterparties, deals input, generate product termsheets where applicable. Provide trade fixings related tasks for FX and SP desk and disseminate details to RMs and clients in an accurate and timely manner. Perform all post-trade tasks including updating and upkeeping of deal details and maturity for both FX and SP desks. Perform deals data management for reporting purposes. Assist in preparing ad hoc marketing presentation material. Assist in preparing daily MIS market commentary and weekly morning meetings. Cover colleagues in the HK office whenever necessary. Trading With the supervision of Capital Markets Specialists where necessary: Quote FX/SP prices to internal stakeholders. Execute Capital Markets products. Assist in managing the Bank’s nostro position as well as forwards positions reconciliation for the FX&PM team. Assume any other tasks as assigned within the Capital Markets team. Requirements Strong computing/programming skills are essential, especially in Excel/VBA. Minimum tertiary education in Business/Banking/Finance/Economics and ideally with Computer/Financial Engineering or related disciplines. Patient and meticulous with good administrative skills. 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in a dealing room or back-office environment preferred. Ability to work under pressure, be autonomous, and curious. A strong team player who is willing to put in the extra mile as part of the wider Capital Markets team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
