Joining the Deloitte Legal team, you'll get to learn and experience first-hand how we provide clients with trusted advice for their business operations across a broad and growing portfolio of legal services including Federal and state tax and stamp duty advisory and dispute resolution, transaction advisory, corporate law, foreign investment advisory and applications, employment law, digital and intellectual property law, the preparation and review of legal documentation, corporate reorganisations, structuring, trusts and estate planning and more. As a Vacationer you will have the opportunity to experience our Corporate and Employment law teams or Intellectual Property and Technology law teams. You will gain experience that sets you apart as you work with a variety of top-tier clients ranging from multinational corporations, through to high net-worth individuals. You will be exposed to a range of tasks including:

• Preparing evidence files and submissions
• Conducting research to support advice on a range of matters
• Preparing for proceedings in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal or the Federal Court
• Commercial drafting

Who will you be working with? We're a fast-growing and dynamic legal team within the Tax & Legal business unit of Deloitte. Enough about us, let's talk about you. As a bright, ambitious and incredibly hard-working student, you'll also be:

• In your penultimate year of a law degree (preferably combined with Business/Commerce or Economics)
• An excellent communicator - you're articulate and possess strong writing skills
• Love being part of a team and working collaboratively
• Naturally curious and good at problem-solving
• An Australian/New Zealand Citizen or a Permanent Resident of Australia
