You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9 day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. We’ll provide comprehensive training , and help you achieve a Certificate IV in Employment Services within the first 12 months on the job. Key Responsibilities Employment Coach is a dynamic and rewarding position. You will play a key role in assisting our customers to set and achieve their goals while meeting the contractual requirements of an employment service provider. Your day-to-day can include the following:
- Assisting diverse customers in overcoming personal and professional challenges
- Delivering coaching to improve employability skills, confidence and career planning
- Preparing quality resumes, cover letters and supporting the job application process
- Finding suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocating on their behalf
- Referring customers to internal and external support for housing, mental health and financial counselling
- Providing additional mentoring and support during the first six months of employment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to achieve individual targets and work to clearly defined KPIs
- Strong administration skills and IT literacy, including data entry, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Meeting a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
