The Position: The Air & LCL Product Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting the Pricing and Implementation of Global Tenders in ensuring all RFQ’s are completed and returned within the completion date. The role will also be responsible for tender management and supporting Global Customer Implementations. This role is open to be placed in either Sydney or Melbourne. Responsibilities: 1. Short-term pricing and Uptake management
- Collect and optimize input data for pricing models, monitor pricing trends and conduct pricing analyses and modelling to inform pricing decisions
- Monitor specific trade(s) targets, and ensure that such targets are met, particularly yield and utilization
- Sourcing of rates from carriers/transport providers/airlines and interstate offices of completion of global and local RFQ’s
- Maintaining and updating RFQs/Tenders within correct time frame on Maersk systems
- Assist with implementation of new business global accounts.
- Ensure knowledge of global forwarding operations and the market are up to date.
- Pricing and Reasoning updates
- Evaluate Market intel to set pricing
- Execute on specific trade(s) strategy, aligned with Global direction
- Air and LCL Market Knowledge
- Sound trade and revenue acumen and tactical thinking
- Attention to detail and accuracy of data input
- Good experience with CW1 and Microsoft Excel
