A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage an experiencedBusiness Analyst to join a highly multidisciplinary team. The successful Business Analystwill be responsible for leading requirement gatherings, documentation, and consultation with a range of stakeholder in a complex environment. The successfulBusiness Analyst will be offered a 6 month contract with 1 x 6 months extension options!
The successful Business Analystwill be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Work with the business SME’s and IT teams to analyse business requirements to discover the underlying business needs to be addressed, through workshops or discussions with stakeholders.
- Develop user interface designs utilising User Central Design (UCD) principles and practices to design user interfaces that conform with industry, Australian Government Accessibility and Usability principles, practices, and guidelines.
- Specifying Requirements – documenting the requirements in a format that can be shared with, and easily understood by, a variety of stakeholders.
The successful Business Analystwill have experience in the following:
- Excellent knowledge of IT Systems Development Lifecylces (SDLC) & Agile delivery methodology.
- Strong understanding of process modelling (including the use of BPMN) data analysis and modelling.
- Desirable knowledge of systems including SAS, Microsoft Dynamics, Java, Siebel/Oracle fusion, Peoplesoft and Data Warehouse.
- Effective enterprise analysis skills and ability to resolve complex problems in a diverse and changing business environment.
