The Hervey Bay RSL is located on the beautiful Fraser Coast. The Club is the premier entertainment venue in the region experiencing growth in Hervey Bay. The Club's facilities include:- 280 gaming machines, 4 bars, TAB and Keno, billiards and pool tables, child care centre, bottleshop, 3 functions rooms, 180 seat restaurant, 160 seat deck and 100 seat cafe. The Role Ensuring quality product and service is presented in a timely and efficient manner. Reporting to the Catering Manager/Exec Chef, Head Chef and Sous Chefs Responsibilities include:-
- Cleaning of commercial kitchen
- Operating a commercial dishwasher
- Receiving of goods
- Correct storing daily supplies
- Stock rotation
- Following Haccap systems
- Minimising wastage
- Maintaining clean and tidy work area
- Follow safe work procedures
- Be a strong team member, willing to adapt to change and follow direction
- Exceptional Customer service skills
- Awareness of HACCP Food Hygiene
- Must have a food safety certificate
- Follow all kitchen safety procedures
- Operation of Kitchen equipment
- Team worker, pleasant vibrant personality
- Take pride in their work
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Forklift licence - would be an advantage
